Chargers did just that by wrecking the Pune Warriors India in their 7th game in IPL 2012 and registering their first win of the IPL season. I trust there’s going to be no looking back from here on. Chargers will play to the best of their abilities with the regained confidence and excellent team spirit.

Vice Captain Cameron White smacked PWI with his 78 off 46 balls and lead the Chargers to an 18 runs win. Dhawan, Parthiv, Captain Sanga, Duminy and Jaggi contributed well to the total of 177.

Our bowlers scaled up to the occasion and Deccan Chargers is very proud of this youngster Aashish Reddy who displayed immense maturity in his bowling by taking two vital wickets on his IPL debut. And Rusty Theron playing for the first time for Deccan Chargers picked two wickets. Ankit has been bowling really well this season and he along with Gony took a wicket each and restricted the opponents from taking runs. Well done boys!

We are very thankful to our fans for having supported and encouraged us through our winless stint during the previous matches.

We have one home match in Cuttack on May 1st and four home matches in Hyderabad on May 8th, 10th, 18th & 20th. Do come to the stadium and cheer your team.

Deccan Chargers will play with positive expectancy and strive to win all the ensuing matches.

Regarding Home Grounds

Hello Sir, I am Sai Manohar and I cannot tell how much of a huge fan I am of Deccan Chargers. I have bought almost all the merchandise available on the website - my pen, key chain, shirts, mugs, etc everything have deccan chargers' logo on them. I always believe that there will be ups and downs and I am glad that we registered a win yesterday. Sir, I have a doubt - Why do we have 3 home grounds - Vizag, Cuttack and Hyderabad. Please let us know the reason because it did not make any sense being the only team in the IPL with 3 home grounds in 3 different cities. Kindly brief me on this. Thank you sir

sir we have a very good team but we are not finding the right combination.among the 4 overseas players theron,steyn,duminy,white should be played and sanga should be rested.white should b the captain. this combination will make both the bowling and batting line up strong.i would not agree that we are a weak team we are one of the best team 's but only problem is dat we are not getting the combination right.try this we will not loose a single match

Hello Team, First of all I would like to congratulate each and every one for the BEST performance in the last match against Pune. Please keep Styen in he final eleven along with the Theron. We should make our Bowling department strong. Hope our batting department will continue the same in the further matches. Keep up the momentum and get into the winning track. Even commentators are making fun on DC while playing. Please keep in mind that you are representing one STATE .
