Firstly let me say to you all ,I hope you have had a great Christmas and New year, may 2010 be as good if not better than 2009.
As coach of the Deccan Chargers I,the coaching staff,management,owners and the team are looking forward to this year’s IPL.
As defending champions we promise you as fans you will see the side working as hard as it did last year in playing the brand of cricket which is entertaining but also will get us the right results throughout the tournament.
There is no doubt that other sides will be trying to replicate what we achieved as a team but we have the right balance on and off the field in terms of the way we act and play.
I’m very happy the way the team has been going in terms personal achievement over the break and the way they are playing for their respective domestic and international teams.
We are going to have raise the bar and improve in a few areas but the way the guys work that is not beyond them .They have the desire to play for the team and are always really excited by the well wishes we get by you the fans whether we are at home or on the road playing for you.
We will be wanting you to come to as many games as possible this year to support us and looking forward to catching up with as many as we can.
A big thank you from the support staff for all the great enthusiasm you show in supporting the whole franchise and we will work as hard as last year to keep the results going in the right direction.
To our new members I hope you love watching and supporting us as a franchise and we can make you as proud of us as I’m so proud of coaching and helping such a great group of young men and representing the Deccan Chargers and the people of Hyderabad and India as a whole.
