Deccan Chargers has joined hands with Club Chronicle & Apollo Philanthropy to support Saving A Child’s Heart Initiative (SACHi). It is a charitable organization of Apollo Philanthropy offering financial and medical aid to children with heart diseases. Established in 2003, this charity has touched the lives of over 50,000 children so far. In the last seven years, SACHi has made a tremendous impact in transforming tender young lives. Over 98% of the children operated so far, have survived, bringing hope and cheer to many despairing families. It is a story of positive change that will reflect in generations to come.
This Christmas DECCAN CHARGERS, SACHi and CLUB CHRONICLE bring to you “THE HEART 2 HEART BUDDY CARNIVAL" a fundraiser on the 24th December, 2011 at Apollo Hospitals Lawns, Jubilee Hills. This is aimed at raising money for 87 heart surgeries waiting to be done.

The event is a family entertainer especially for the kids which promises a day filled with fun, excitement and celebration. There are contests for the children like ‘Close to your Heart’ painting contest and ‘Wear your Heart Out’ innovative dressing competition. The carnival starts at 11am.

To add to the excitement of the Carnival DECCAN CHARGERS will extend a hand to spread smile on the faces of the kids by giving GOODIE BAGS to some of the children from an NGO. The Deccan Chargers Mascot "BRAVO' would be the SANTA CLAUS handing over the Christmas Gifts. The Gifts would be handed over between 1600 hrs till 1730 hrs.

The ticket to the carnival costs only Rs. 50/- and includes coupons for 2 games and 2 food items worth Rs.40/-. The remaining Rs 10/- goes to Medical Fund of SAChi. We promise great entertainment and celebration for the kids who would not only be having fun with their mates but at the same time will spread cheer to the despairing families by being a part of the good cause. This is what we call ‘the BUDDY spirit’!
