Marketing of DC, Promotion & the name DECCAN CHARGERS....

Most part of the electronic media and Celebrities, cricket administrators, commentators and former players dont support DC. Why ?

Thats because...
.
.
The whole package of DC is not at all attractive like the other teams

- T-Shirt design is so plain and Bland (Dull blue or Dirty Blue)
SUGGESTION: Have some stripes, and nice design. I can design much better T Shirts than used by DC. or Copy from Football Teams.

- Name is not creative, doesnt have the City name attached with it. (It looked like it was copied from CHICHAGO BULLS, the name and LOGO)
SUGGESTION: Name shud be DECCAN CHARGERS HYDERABAD (DCH)
Doesnt it look Cool.... Only then people will know Hyderabad, Corporates will associate to Hyderabad Team...

- No celebrities are associated with it.
- No promotional events b4 the tournament.
- More importantly untalented local players who are played always even though they never perform like VENU GOPAL, RAVI TEJA, ARJUN YADAV...
SUGGESTION: For Next IPL3 Remove the Clutter, get new players purely on the basis of talent.

- No smart marketing of Merchandise like T Shirts, Flags, Caps etc.
- One thing better this time is they will not come 8th this time.

SUGGESTION: DC Management next time (2010 IPL) I am sure u guys will have more sponsors, so plz incorporate the above suggestions in IPL3 atleast.

Though the website has been given some face lift this time but it needs to be more attractive. Needs to have more no. of articles, contests and things that can keep the fans glued to it.

**** A GOOD N POPULAR website will also attract more ADs and will help the DC EARN more money. ****

None of the locals have won a 'Man of the Match' award. None of them has helped to win a match single handedly. I know locals like SUMAN, HARMEET, AZHAR BILIQUIA & SHOAIB chipped in nicely, but more is expected from the Local Indian guys aswell.

WE NEED BETTER LOCAL TALENT, TRY TO GET SOMEONE FROM ICL / OR FROM OUR DOMESTIC TEAM / OR LITERALLY FROM ANYWHERE INTER SCHOOLS, COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY, INTER CORPORATE TEAM PLAYERS or CRICKET REALITY SHOW.

ABHISHEK NAYAR: HE IS A SEC'BAD GUY PLAYING FOR MUMBAI INDIANS, HE IS DOING WELL THERE, TRY TO TRADE HIM.

IF 'DECCAN CHARGERS' WANTS TO SURVIVE (& MAKE PROFITS) IT NEEDS TO KEEP WINNING AND 'BE POPULAR' AMONG THE CRICKET FANS AROUND THE WORLD.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE IS A GOLDEN OPPURTUNITY, WE HAVE TO BE PREPARED FOR IT.... ALL THE BEST, HOPE THE DC MANAGEMENT TAKES THESE SUGGESTIONS...

yes if you people select some of the local talents from the ICL then it will be like now the local players like SUMAN,VENU,ARJUN etc will have to fight for their place so please select them as soon as possible otherwise those people will fall in other franchises
