9.Vass (OR) Zoysa
10. R.P.Singh
11.Vijay Kumar
Responsibilities :
Batsman 1,2 should take up the responsibility of batting for atleast 10 overs.
Bstsman 3 should be able to take up the responsibility if any of the opener batsman fails to accomplish his task.
Batsman 4,5,6 should bat through the innings and should achieve every target.
Trump card :
Shahid afridi should be used as a trump card. He should be used as a Bowler first and then as a batsman. He should be sent whenever there is an immediate need to boost the run rate.
Main strength :
After watching the games till now, it is quite clear that Ravi teja, Rohit sharma and venugopal should be the middle order batsman which forms the back bone of Deccan Chargers. This should give enough courage for the batsman 1,2,3 to do well. Herschelle gibbs is a very accomplished player and can win any match single handedly so dropping Gibbs would be a very bad idea. Sending venugopal as an opener is again a bad idea, it will weaken the middle order of the team. The five bowlers mentioned 7,8,9,10,11 above should be good enough to handle the bowling department. This team combination should win under any circumstances.
Wish you all the very best for the rest of the three games left.
