Terms and Conditions for “Predict and Win” Contest

The Deccan Chargers “Predict and Win” Contest is an online game open to the registered users at www.deccanchargers.com

The winners of the Prediction – level prizes will be selected based on the time of prediction. Three earliest predictors who got their prediction right will win the prize.

The Match – level, Tournament - Level and the Bumper Prizes will be based on the points accrued by making right predictions. Number of points earned for a prediction is equal to the number of hours left for closure of the contest at the time of prediction.

In case of a tie, the winner will be selected through weightage system explained in the Rules of the Contest section and further through a Lucky Draw. The Lucky Draw shall be conducted by an independent panel constituted by Deccan Chargers at their sole and absolute discretion and the same shall be final & binding and shall not be questioned by any user in any manner whatsoever.

The pictures of the prizes shown in the website / communication sent to users are representative only and the prizes are subject to availability from the respective suppliers.

Deccan Chargers shall not be liable on account of any deficiency or defect in the products given as prizes to any user.

The employees and families of the Deccan Chronicle Group are not eligible to participate in this scheme.

The winners undertake to pay any taxes/ duties on the same as applicable

The prizes are non-transferable and cannot be encashed.

The winners will have to produce an identification document at the time of receiving the gift. It could be PAN No., Driving license, Identity card or Voter ID card.

Relevant Income Tax / Government of India laws will be applicable to the winner of the Gift.

Deccan Chargers reserve the right to modify or change any of the terms & conditions applicable to the Deccan Chargers “Predict and Win” Contest at any point of time.

All disputes arising out of the Deccan Chargers “Predict and Win” contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts of Hyderabad.
