Excellent Team

While iam an ardent fan of Deccan Chargers, i cant help but think the ridiculous way in which our team perished..Honestly, it didnt luk like a TEAM at all...group of individuals whos just there to earn some money...
Lets Break it down and analyze
Batting : Some good starts,good opening partnerships(especially in the last 2 games) but no middle order support...Deccan Chronicle should try to bring in some good indian lads for this job..luk at other teams, they have gud indian youngsters..abhishek nayar,raina,pathan,asnodkar,shikhar dhawan,gony..we have no such performers amongst out ranks..If the Deccan Chronicle guys really bother to read this, please please get some good youngsters in the team for next season..

Bowling: I know RP Singh is amongst wicket takers, but most of his wikcets came at the fag end of the innings where the batsmen r just luking to hit anything and everything. This is T20, of course bowlers are going to go for runs, but u need at least one bowler in the team to get some quick wickets,and one more to compliment him.bottom line, we dnt have the firepower.

Fielding : Fielding has been okay...could improve better.

Coaching : will someone please tell me what the coach's role was for this team??
every other coach seemed to have some role in the teams success or failure, but Robin Singh has been disappointing...no real motivation from him

Lastly this is not a post from an angry fan, but a post born out of anguish of having to see my fav team lose 12 matches out of 14.

Yeah yeah yeah, best team..but only on the paper..
Afridi should be dropped for the next season(Hope theres not contract)

Promote one indian youngster up the order..not venugopal rao..thats not his position.
someone like ravi teja(Ambati Tirupati Rayudu wud've made a fine addition,sad hes in ICL)
Except for gilchrist, none of the team members luk like a UNIT
Please and for gods sake, keep Arjun Yadav out of the team, hes clearly not for 20-20.cant bowl,fields awfully, looks woefully gone when batting..few edges,few mishits and his score will be 20 frm 10 balls..thts not 20-20

today's loss against royals has really left me down............i hope vvs laxman is dropped from the side and give the captaincy to..............adam gilchrist...............and we must also bring in ravi teja..........drop arjun yadav.and bring in aa impact makin bowler....vassy , rudra , afridi, ojha, bangar and some one .........is needed to balance our team..........in bowling department...........

Gilly should take up the captaincy and Laxman should be dropped from the team. Replace Laxman with a better bowler and get S.Styris instead of Vaas.

My team would be: Gilly, Afridi/Gibbs, Symonds, Rohit, Styris, Bhangar, Yadav, RP Singh, Ojha, Kalyan/Vijay

Please Please put Laxman aside.... The Time has come to shuffle all theplayers in the side...
What the hell is Laxman doing as a captain?
HE doesn't bat well,
HE doesn't know how may fielders were inside the ring
HE doesn't know how to use his Bowlers...
HE doesn't know how to inspire the team...

Then why the hell is he inside the team???????????

Please Please don't let us down.... I beg you...TEAM MANAGEMENT should take a stiff stand.

hey guyz wassup i hope all watched 2day match.....i really think VVS shud drop down frm captaincy & make sum other guy as captain.. i really dont understand y DC selected VVS. first of all he is a test player...he doesnt have experience of captancy & not a play of 50-50 match..i dont know wht made DC to select VVS really tht was bad selection

Nice to see u here.Congrats for Deccan Chronicle for hiring Hyderabad chargers.Very nice selection, having apt players for 20-20. Anyhow its only a game.One will win the contest.Let us hope that HC's will be the winner.why not we are having good players to battle.as per my opinion, following the rotation method will gives the success.It allows all the players to play,who r in squad.So hope each and everybody will get a chance to play.

The openers should be Gilchrist & D.B.Raviteja who proved very good in Ranji Matches besides representing India in U-19 in many countries.

Youngester like him must be elevated to give an entertaining & confidant cricket.

well dont under estimate shahid afridi and dont forget he was number 1 twenty20 bowler in T20 world cup recently, so normaly he is accurate n unorthodox, can destroy any bowling with bat if he apply brain and stay on wicket. Symond is failed T20 bowler but must batsman cuz apart from hitting he can stay on wicket which is destructing as well, gilli being wicket keeper has to play n can open the batting n will more likely to make score more often then not, 4rth one can be zoysa or chaminda, chaminda can be prefered being experienced. Thats my 4 international players for game one n then replace them with others if any one of them lacking form, what do u think guys ?
