afridi can be asset to DC if he controls his aggression ,which he is not doing and cant do now for remaining matches, if he can, would have done long back,so its best to send him as opener, what ever be the situation he gives later batsmen has to control it weather good or bad, the more he has bat in his hands, is good for the chargers

Afridi can bat at any position provided he last for 25 balls. He will serve better to team if he decide to play minimum 25 balls.

venu is playing superbly. Initially whwn the team sent him as the opener, everybody in this forum complained against DC to drop venu. Had he been persited with him at the opening slot things would have been different. I request DC team management to send venu to open the innings along with gilly.

what was the dc doing at the time of auction? when you have players afridi, gilly, gibbs, styris etc. What every people in the world thinks dat Hyderabad would win the every ipl match. I THINK AFRIDI SHOULD OPEN BECAUSE HE IS A PERSON WHO LOOKS TO HIT EVERY BALL OUT OF THE GROUND AND IF HE IS SENT TOP OF THE ORDER HE WOULD SURELY UTILISE THE POWER PLAY TO SHOW HIS POWER AND IF COMES IN THE MIDDILE ORDER HE WILL TRY DO THE SAME AT THAT TIME ALSO BUT IF IT IS MISHIT IT IS TROUBLE SO HE MUST GO ON TO OPEN COMMON BOOM BOOM AFRIDI DC WILL CHARGE

From now on venu should pair with gilly for openinig. Venu should be rewarded for his good work.For Afridi it does not matter if he is batting in the first over or 20th. We are very dissaoppinted to know that VVS will be out of action for 2 weeks.We wish him sppedy recovery.

all the player r gud hitters but they should control their wickets till 10 overs then they can hit shot. thats my opinion

hi i also agree with all, send afridi as an opner with gilly then see the magic of afridi he not a middle order batsman as all we know afridi cant handle the pressure so let him opening the innings where there is no pressure in the begingig and the players r in circle in 1st five overs then afridi can swing is bat freely and up to filed restriction finished afridi might have done the maximum damage to the oposition.

He is a national discard from the south african team, That is why he was not present in the squad which played india in the test series. scott styris also is a national discard. Deccan Chargers should allow Afridi to open the innings with Gilly.He has good records as an opener.The team should shuffle it's batting order . Styris should be first down while Gibbs be second down.Rohit should come at No.5 for the team.

Afridi only play his natural cricket when he is on open. He will be most effective as opener becasue of the power play field. If its my call i either drop him or if pick him he will only open and nothing else because he could provide the start that every team would want.

afridi bowls a good line and length to the batsmen. see vaas and scott styris. they doesnt know how to bowl.

I think that by sending afridi on 6 or 7 u r asking him to just go for everything.see if u sent him as opener i am sure he wil give u atleast 25 and that too ur strike rate will be abv 200.and taking into consideration that if dc win all the remaining matches after loosing to kkr hey hav 95 % of entering semis so the following line up suits very best AND I BEG GILLY TO SENT THIS LINE UP

Afridi can be batted as an opener. but now it will not be the right time to give chance to afridi to bat as an opener. I think gilly should come up with Rohit to make a good stand,..... then Gibbs and Afridi can be the superman for chargers....
