Tanmay Srivastava, a.k.a Toshu, hails from the cricketing grounds of Uttar Pradesh. He was a member of U-19 Indian cricket team that won the 2008 World Cup in Malaysia. He was the leading run scorer for India with the score of 262 runs.
This left-handed batsman has displayed consistent performance in the domestic cricket circuit. In 2007-08 he was a member of the UP team playing for Ranji Trophy wherein he scored his maiden first-class century against Delhi.
Srivastava had been contracted by Kings XI Punjab in the Indian Premier League from 2008 to 2010. He moved to Kochi Tuskers Kerala for the 2011 season. Tanmay was signed by the Deccan Chargers for the 2012 season.
